Our vision is simple: "Transformed people transforming the world."

We are convinced that God passionately loves the world and grieves over the suffering and tragedy in His Creation. We know He has called, and has empowered His people in His churches everywhere, to be equipped and trained, to leave the comfort zone of their sanctuaries, and go into the world to become His love and grace in real and tangible ways.

Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew; “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus’ Great Commission is accomplished in three distinct actions:

  • Worship: as a community of faith we are devoted to the worship of the living God. Jesus said in the gospel of John 4:24 "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." We cannot truly worship God until we have come into a spiritual relationship with Him. We delight in sharing that spiritual birth by sharing the gospel of Jesus.
  • Community: as humans we yearn for connection with others. It has been said; “we want to know and be known, to love and be loved.” The apostle Paul encouraged the believers in Colossians 3:12-16 by saying; Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." The church is the people who test these ideals. We are seeking to be trained and transformed by loving one another in the church as well as outside the church.
  • Serving: Jesus’ life was a sacrificial life. In the gospel of Mark Jesus said; 10:45 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” We are a community of faith that takes serving others to heart. For the gospel message to be believed, people must see it in the lives of God’s people. We seek to serve our community in various ways: serving at the Soup Kitchen, providing resources to help people with rent, fuel, clothing, furniture and food.
  • Our Vision is to move from the comfort of our church out into our city with the transforming gospel of Jesus Christ. We challenge you to join us in this Great Adventure.

Acts 1:8; "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." (ESV)
