Fellowship: the second purpose of our church is "Fellowship." Jesus said the second Greatest Commandment is this; "Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." Mark 12:31.
Over 60 times the New Testament speaks of; "one another." God's people are to pray for one another, encourage one another, admonish one another, and above all love one another." God does not want us to go through life alone; we need each other.
We are a church that is growing in diversity. Members in our church represent countries like; Sudan, Berundi, Rawanda, and Congo. We are fortunate to enjoy the richness of different cultures. We are also fortunate too that we are beginning to reflect on earth what will someday happen in heaven:
"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the trhone and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in theri hands, and crying out with a loud voice, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" Revelation 6:9-10 (ESV)
We come join us. As you believe in the Lord Jesus (Romans 10:9) you will complete "Class 101" to prepared you for membership and service in our faith community. If you do not have a church home, we invite you to visit us and determine if the Lord is calling you to be part of the love and grace God is developing at Stroudwater Village Church.
"For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another." 1 John 3:11 (ESV)
